In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:16

Shine, because you can't hide your light.

North G and what we're all about

Yeah, I'll be a man of God, clear of my personal end-point and make biblical decisions out of reverence. A vision so simple that anyone can understand, yet a vision so deep that no one can fully contend. That's our North G vision.

The 'Jian Hao' you don't see everyday

Just to share about my life a little bit. I've been a grumpy person lately, even though you may not see that side of me often. Because things happen, they fall out of place and they instill negative emotions in me. I'm so exhausted trying to balance my agenda. Y-creatives writers deadlines! El Talento! Pastamania! (I work there.) My sheep! My LifeGroup! North Christmas Planning! My foot injury hurts! And the list goes on. All these taking a toll of me, I'm burning out. "HELP!"
But it does not end like this. Every time I seek God, He reassures me with His peace. When I think I'm too busy to pray, and seek renewal from God, I've allowed these things to overcome me. That's when I remember 1 Corinthians 10:13. "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Feel as He feels, love as God loves

I think our camp devotion guide is improving leaps and bounds every year - both in design and in content. The first devotion talks about love. For me, I think the best way to love God is by putting a smile on His face. God rejoices when I repent, when I bring someone to know Him, when I pray, when I prioritize, when I shepherd my sheep faithfully, etc. The list is endless if you were to brainstorm about it. Application? I want to put a smile on God's face even in the most nifty details of my life.

LoL, a team given by God

I'm privileged to be part of this team 'Leaders of Light' which is the LG leaders of the monkey-god-look-alike David Hoe. Recently, we started to share our lives by sending updates about each other via sms. I think it's a good start, although it may seem threatening because you'll receive a message any moment from any of the 9 others. A big thanks to all of you. Heh!
